What is the NCHS 2+2 USA Degree Transfer Programme?
The NCHS 2+2 USA transfer programme is the perfect solution for students who want to study in the USA, but want an easier and more cost effective option. Students also receive a strong foundation while in Sri Lanka, with immersion to the American education system from the comfort of Sri Lanka.
The transfer allows students to complete up to two years (60 credits) of a U.S. university degree in Sri Lanka and seamlessly transfer to one of our partnered universities in the United States of America or Canada. These include top-ranked institutions located in states such as California, New York, and Tennessee.
Students may also opt for the 1+3 pathway, completing one year (45 credits) in Sri Lanka before transferring. This option is ideal for academically driven students seeking an early transition to international universities.

Academic Entry Requirement
UK/Cambridge/ Sri Lankan GCE O-level:
- 5 passes with grade C or above, including English and Mathematics
- If Mathematics is not passed, complete the Maths 45 module at NCHS (offered free) and achieve a C grade
English Proficiency Requirement
UK/Cambridge/Sri Lankan GCE O‑level
- Grade C or above in English.
IELTS
- Overall band score of 5.5, with no band less than 5.0.
